Located in viale Gadio in the Parco Sempione, Acquario Civico in Milan is the third oldest aquarium in Europe and is one of the most renown Milanese Liberty-style buildings.
With its faithful reproduction of various ecosystems, your journey through the history of water begins with rainwater entering a mountain stream until arrives at the sea.
Visitors can decide whether to follow water’s journey from the mountain to the sea or its reverse journey. Freshwater ecosystems typical of the Po Valley are reproduced in detail outside in the gardens.
In collaboration with the Verdeacqua association, special events for children are organized every Sunday, including education workshops, drawing and art courses and fun activities.
