Every Friday in September Caffè Baglioni the elegant lagoon view bar at the historic Luna Hotel Baglioni, Venice, will be delighted to welcome hotel guests, visitors and locals to try authentic Venetian aperitivo prepared by Chef Cosimo Giampaolo. Classic cocktails and Prosecco will also be available accompanied by a selection of cicchetti, which guests can enjoy on the Al Fresco Terrace overlooking the Rio della Zecca canal.

From 6:30pm on Friday 19th September Caffe Baglioni, in collaboration with San Marco Beverage Network Venezia S.p.A, will welcome sommelier and food and wine expert, Mauro Di Barbora, to guide guests through an evening of artisan beer tasting presented by the historical Birrificio Artigianale Birra Venezia.

 The tasting menu will include:                                                                                      

  • Birra Venezia Blanche: a high fermentation artisan beer produced with barley and wheat malt and high-quality yeasts noticeable by its rich flavour and refreshing and fruity fragrance. Alc. 5% vol. Beer pairing: Vegetable Tempura.
  •  Birra Venezia Bionda -  Lager: light and thirst quenching, Birra Veneziana Bionda is a lager, produced respecting the Law of Purity (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516.  Alc. 4,7% Vol.Beer pairing: Crispy Shrimp in Kataifi Pastry.
  •  Birra Venezia RossaBoc: full bodied and aromatic, Birra Venezia Rossa is a double malt beer, produced with low fermentation and select yeasts. Alc. 6,4% Vol. Beer pairing: Caciocavallo Cheese from Sila Plateau with Fig Jam.
