ESSENTIAL IN SPIRIT: FIRENZE Fine Art Photography Collection by Inna Rogatchi at Relais Santa Croce, Florence
Essential in Spirit: Firenze is the new collection of fine art photography by Inna Rogatchi on display at Relais Santa Croce in Florence from October 15th, 2012 untill January 15th, 2013. The works are a tribute to Florence and Tuscany, one of her most favourite places in Italy, and are presented as a photo-essay, enriched by musical art-video and author’s highlights.
The Firenze Collection is a limited edition of luxurious pigment digital ink prints on cotton paper, numbered and signed by the author. In words of famous art historian professor Ojars Sparitis “Firenze photo-essay is very touching and picturesque Firenze story – in its sunrises and sunsets, fogs and retouches. The artist has succeeded in picking up those ever changing motifs of the overwhelming beauty of Firenze, and making them very inspirational. One can see clearly that she is in love with Firenze – which is quite normal condition of one’s heart and mind“.
Inna and her husband Michael Rogatchi, world renowned artist, have a special relations with Florence and in particular with Relais Santa Croce. “There is no other place on the earth with such immense concentration of creative energy and its results” – says Inna. “Florence and Tuscany arguably are the ones of the most beautiful places in the world to me, in its mysterious harmony, its unparalleled aesthetics, its fine and complex character which one never tired of making a new discoveries of” – according to Michael.
In 2011, Michael Rogatchi created his famous The Life of Two of Us and Melody for Two, the special charity art exhibition displayed atRelais Santa Croce for almost a year, whose auction proceeds went towards children’s aid, victims of the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe in Japan.
The Rogatchi Foundation and Baglioni Hotels are continuing their successful cooperation started and going on in Florence, also in other Baglioni properties, notably in Venice (Luna Hotel Baglioni) and Rome (Regina Hotel Baglioni).
