The Springtime of the Renaissance. Sculpture and the Arts in Florence 1400-1460

Palazzo Strozzi in Florence will host the show The Springtime of the Renaissance. Sculpture and the Arts in Florence 1400-1460 from 23 March to 18 August 2013, which will illustrate the birth of one of the most important artistic moments in the history of art.
More than one hundred and forty masterpieces from artists like Lorenzo Ghiberti, Filippo Brunelleschi, Giotto, Arnolfo, Donatello, Dello Delli, Filippo Lippi, Nanni di Bartolo, Agostino di Duccio, Michelozzo, Francesco di Valdambrino, Mino di Fiesole and many others will be on display.
The show is divided into ten sections, offering a monumental experience that presents fifteen never-before-seen works to the public that were restored just for the occasion. After Florence, the show will travel to the Louvre in Paris, which is the joint organizer of the event.
