Bar Dolce Vita, Florence

A legendary bar of the Florentine movida movement, Dolce Vita opened its doors in 1985 and continues to be a favourite with the locals.

It has reinvented itself and evolved over the years, both in terms of layout and look, always turning to the most in-vogue architects to update its image. Its current interior is the work of Gaetano Pesce.

Ideal for aperitifs, cocktails or a glass of wine, but also for coffee or herbal tea in one of the internal rooms, at the bar or in the outdoor seating area overlooking Carmine Church.

Dolce Vita serves a rich Mediterranean buffet with the aperitifs, which is often accompanied by live music.
