I had booked a junior suite to benefit from city roof top view and we were upon arrival given a double superior with a view to the courtyard. After some discussion with your staff we were offered another room with a view over the roof tops. It was still not a junior suite but at least it had the view. In essence I never had the room standard that I paid for. We had breakfast in the room much to my surprise the orange juice was not freshly squeezed but I suppose that one cannot expect more than cold expression and couple of odd croissants for 40 - 45 €. In total I have doubts on whether I would want to come back to your hotel let alone recommend it as price quality does not seem to add up.

The room first assigned was a Junior Suite, even if the view was to the courtyard, really quite room (size: 42,4 smq). After your complain Mr Sorensen we immediately showed another Junior Suite at the 3rd floor with the view of the Basilica of Santa Croce and Forte Bel Vedere ( 41,1 smq). Both rooms are Junior Suite as on our Web site the surface area of this kind of rooms is: from 38 to 43 sqm. Continental Breakfast: Mixed Bread and butter, mixed pastry, fresh fruits, yogurt, marmalade, honey, orange juice ,coffee ( American, espresso) , milk , cappuccino . On request included in the rate: corn flakes, all kind of eggs, bacon, assorted of cold cuts , assorted of cheese , fresh fruit salad. Price: Euro 25,00 per person, plus Euro 5,00 for the room service. Eugenio Rigo, General Manager

“Fantastic and gorgeous!!!” To stay with Relais Santa Croce is like to stay in a very luxurious cocoon. Between visiting Florence and eating some fantastic Italian dinner it is a pleasure to go back to the hotel and to feel all relax, luxe and calm of this place. I recommend RCC to any person looking for sweet 5 stars break in Europe.

Excellent location and facilities. Qulaity transfer from Marco Polo airport to Hotel by Merc 4WD then beautiful private boatride. Enjoyed a gondola ride organised through the hotel but was slightly disappointed that it was only 30 minutes. Staff were excellent without exception. Overall great few days, thank you.

Due to my work I visit and survey many luxury Hotels around the world, and I am obviously spoiled… So it’s rather difficult to impress me, whilst at the Relais Santa Croce I was absolutely and positively impressed! I’m not going to describe the Hotel’s details – I just recommend to book a room and to Enjoy - get spoiled!

“Treated like Royalty!” I stayed at Relais Santa two times the last two years for work while Pitti in Florence, and I could not think of any better place The staff always made me feel like if there is no one else but me in the Palace. The front office is impeccable, courteous, available and gentile but never over friendly. Aurora in particular is quite exceptional. The restaurant have a great menu and the ambiance is always very tranquil, which I do appreciate greatly. For the rest, the rooms are just lovely! With fantastic views on the third floor and probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever sleep on. On another note the areas surrounding the Hotel very Florentine, and there is a lovely theater “ Verdi” next to the Palace where you can assist to very nice music concerts

“Modern comfort in palatial gem”. We stayed in a top floor room which was smallish but very comfortable, with good amenities. Very quiet but very convenient. The common rooms are like a museum - huge and extravagantly decorated in 18th century style. The top floor meant we had a view over the rooftops with a hint of Santa Croce. Delightful and helpful service. Delicious breakfast. Ask to see the royal suite if it's not occupied for a glimpse of ultimate luxury in an authentic palazzio.

From the moment we entered the Relais Santa Croche until our departure two days later, we were enchanted by this gem of a hotel. The experienced young man on the reception made us feel welcome and provided more than half an hour of personalized introduction to the services and facilities of the hotel and the city's many attractions. Our room was modern and attractive and the common areas reflected the beauty of this former Florentine town house. The hotel restaurant was very good but and the atmosphere excellent ... much better value than the overpriced restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel which, we were told, is run by a separate company. Also, the Santa Croche's location is very good ... easy walking distance to all the main sights.

This trip was for a special occasion so thought why not visit Florence and a stylish Hotel. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful, there is so much attention paid to detail. The staff were very warm - nothing was too much trouble which certainly got our stay off to a great start. The bedroom was probably mid-priced but was fantastic with the most wonderful views. Again, I could not fault anything. You must also try the hotel restaurant - beautifully presented food - they obviously have an accomplished chef too! We were only there for a few nights but we are planning another trip. The Manager was quite charming! Though a bit young for me!!! He's obviously very talented to have created such a lovely atmosphere (I hope they appreciate what they've got!) I did say thanks to him but feel finally making the effort to leave my thoughts on here would be a more appropriate way to show my gratitude - thanks.

You have the most wonderful and beautiful hotel but more important than that you have the most amazing staff. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is dealt with with such professionalism and always with a smile. Even the youngest member of our group (8 months) was considered important and nothing was too much trouble. Amongst such excellent staff Clarissa and Saverio particularly stood out. They are a credit to your hotel and to their profession. Thankyou.

We stayed at the Relais Santa Croce at the end of August for 3 nights. The service was impeccable and discreet. The hotel itself is very beautiful and calm. As it is a fairly small hotel, nothing seemed rushed or too much trouble. The location is also fantastic, just 5 minutes from the centre of Florence. We would definitely stay here again and will look out for other Baglioni hotels on our future trips.

This is a world class hotel with superior service and accommodations. The staff could not be more accommodating, they go out of their way to achieve every request we made. The hotel only has 25 rooms each with space and modern equipment. The common rooms are spacious and beautiful. My wife I stayed a week , everything you want to see in Florence is within 15 minutes or less walking distance from the hotel. Do not be fooled by the low ranking, this is a Five Star hotel and the place to stay in Florence

Perfect location, fantastic personnel, the best small hotel in Florence. Had a lovely weekend in this lovely hotel. Really well placed because close enough to visit Florence by foot but not too close that it is so noisy with the tourists. Great service all the way from the valet parking to the reception to the check-in to the breakfast staff. Did not eat at the hotel (apart from excellent breakfast included in rate) so not able to judge the restaurant apart from the fact that it has 3 Michelin Stars... Bedroom very comfortable and cozy and quiet - 4 poster bed with good pillows etc - like the marble bathroom and large dressing room area - we were not in a suite. Overall great place and will definitely return.
