Roccatederighi Medieval Festival
A small hamlet of Roccastrada, Roccatederighi is a fascinating medieval village accessed through a large arched gateway in the majestic town walls.
During the Festa del Borgo (Village Festival), which takes place each year in August, Roccatederighi is transported back in time to the Middle Ages.
The entire village is brimming with artists, painters, jugglers and acrobats, and all the residents don traditional costumes.
The historic parade is complemented by a hive of activities, with entertainment, taverns and market stalls selling all types of goods.
On entering the town, you should change your Euros into Roccatederighi florins, the only tender accepted when purchasing souvenirs or refreshments during these three magical days.
