We recently stayed at the Villa Gallici while visiting Aix. We reserved 2 rooms, one standard and the other a suite. The suite we stayed in, number 3, is small with barely enough room to walk around the bed. The suite has a very nice balcony, and if the weather had been warm enough to keep the doors open, maybe the room would not have seemed so small. Suites 1 and 2 are larger and you might want to specifically request them when making your reservation. Other than the rooms being small, this hotel is lovely! The staff are hardworking and attentive. The hotel is very well maintained, and very clean. The living spaces are very comfortable, and the restaurant is very good. The pool and patio are actually prettier than they appear in the pictures. I imagine this hotel is wonderful in the summer. It is a bit of a walk from town, but we enjoyed the exercise.

“Best hotel in Provence” Located in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a quiet lane. What a wonderful hotel. We had room 4 which is a suite with separate living room, sun room and large terrace overlooking the secluded pool and hills beyond. Large bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. It is the best room in the hotel- the most space and the best views. The rooms and public areas are decorated beautifully- tasteful, luxurious wall coverings and overstuffed chairs. A small hotel where the staff knows who you are. Excellent breakfast- especially the bread and fromage plate. Very friendly service. Dinner was very good. 2 minutes from Clos de Violette, the best restaurant in Aix. A 7 minute walk to the heart of Aix. Highly recommended. We stay in suites at the finest hotels in the world and this hotel ranks right up there with the best.

We stayed two nights at Villa Gallici in a terrace suite and loved it! The room was luxurious and comfortable, and our terrace was right in the beautifully kept garden. We ate lunch and dinner at the hotel, and both meals were delicious, although the service was a little slow. The staff was very courteous and handled our requests promptly and efficiently. The location, just outside the town's busy core, was a plus as we could easily walk to town but did not have all the noise associated with its core.

“GreatLocation” I found the review for the Villa Gallici a few years ago. We atayed there with our 5 year old son in November. We found the hotel lovely and the staff amazing. In fact, the place was so wonderfully safe and friendly that we ended up leaving our son in the room watching cartoons with the door open while we dined on fabulous food in the dining room. It was like being in our own home. Best part was that the staff had a video feed and were able to play movies, etc. Since we were some of the only folks there at that time of year, they were willing to play the same video of cartoons over and over for our 5 year old to keep him entertained in the room so that we could have a romantic evening. A perfect spot I would recommend to everyone!
