Welcome to Le Saint Paul de Vence

Saint-Paul-de-Vence was discovered in 1920 by Signac, Modigliani, Bonnard and Soutine, and is one of the prettiest villages in France. The community’s 16th and 17th century houses and city walls remain intact, and Saint-Paul-de-Vence was once a haven for contemporary artists such as Marc Chagall, who rests in the village’s cemetery, as well as Matisse, Picasso and, more recently, César. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Riviera, Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a special stop along the route to discovering the authentic charms of the Provençal countryside.

The hotel stands in the very centre of the medieval town of Saint Paul, one of the most enchanting villages in Provence, facing the Mediterranean and sheltered by the Southern Alps, between hills and sea. The hotel, dating back to the 16th-century, is characterized by its typical Provençal decoration in warm pastel colours, the incredibly beautiful and high quality restaurant which, in summertime, opens on the terrace with panoramic views.
