The Saatchi Gallery is one of the best-known contemporary art galleries in London.
According to many, it was the very first exhibition of some of the works collected by Charles Saatchi that marked a turning point in the history of Art on a worldwide level, and served as a showcase for artists such as Damien Hirst, who are now established and highly acclaimed.
The Saatchi Gallery is now based in the luxurious Duke of York HQ building in Chelsea, and occupies a surface are of around 6500 square metres.
Although it is a private building, admission to the exhibition is free in line with Charles Saatchi's wish to create a culture of art insofar as possible.
The Saatchi Gallery also has pleasant refreshment area that serves breakfast, snacks and traditional afternoon tea.
