City of London Festival

The City of London Festival is scheduled to take place in the British capital from June 24 to July 27: it is a cultural event with a dense program of events, concerts, and shows that will be held around the city.
This year the event celebrates its 50th edition and enriches the offer of tourist attractions for this upcoming summer in London, which include the 2012 Olympic games and the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
One of the main events on schedule that deserves to be mentioned is the concert by the London Symphony Orchestra, which will be performing the Requiem by Berlioz in the Cathedral of St. Paul from June 25th to 26th.
