Valentino: Master of Couture

From 29 November to 3 March, London’s Somerset House will host the exhibition Valentino: Master of Couture, dedicated to the life and works of one of the most acclaimed fashion designers in history.
Divided in three sessions, the exhibition starts with an overview of Valentino’s private life through a series of photographs from his personal archive.
In a bizarre role switching one enjoys a fashion show on a catwalk along which there are 130 designs exhibited dating from Valentino’s debut to his latest collections.
The final section includes the tailoring and design stages and overall handwork required to create high fashion wear with the example of a magnificent wedding dress created by Valentino for Princess Marie Chantal of Greece.
