Corrigan's of Mayfair Restaurant, London
Located in Hyde Park, along Upper Grovesnor Street, Corrigan's of Mayfair, is the latest restaurant opened by famous Irish chef Richard Corrigan, who already owns two popular London restaurants, Bentley Oyster Bar & Grill and Linsday House.
It is the perfect example of Modern British cuisine: traditional rural cuisine with a modern twist that brings out the forgotten flavours of yesteryear.
The menu features plenty of game as well as local fish, from lobster through to lemon sole (native to the North Sea).
All ingredients are procured from small local producers and are carefully selected by the Chef.
In addition to the à la carte menu, Corrigan’s Mayfair has a light lunch menu and a menu based on the fresh seasonal products sold at Sunday markets.
It is possible to book the exclusive Chef’s Table, with its custom menu, a meeting with the Chef and his staff, and a special table with view of the kitchen.
Last bur certainly not least, the wine list reads like an encyclopaedia, suggesting perfect combinations and accurately explaining each wine’s characteristics.
There is special focus on biodynamic wines.
