Floris

Among the oldest perfumeries in London, Floris open in 1730, when the young Juan Famenias Floris, native of Minorca, opened his barbershop in Jeremyn Street in the St. James district.

Apart from his excellent service, Floris immediately distinguished himself for the hand made combs that he imported from Minorca, and for the accessories such as shaving brushes, tooth brushes and fine-toothed combs that he manufactured in his workshop next to the store, becoming one of the favourite haunts of London gentlemen.

However, Floris' good fortune was his exceptional skill in making perfume and fragrances for men and women. Still today, after nearly three centuries, this tradition continues with those that are considered among the most sought after perfumes in the world.

Floris' crown jewels are his customised fragrances, made specifically to reflect the character and the personality of the people to whom they have been dedicated.

Besides these precious perfumes, Floris also makes essential oils, bath salts, perfumed candles and essences.
