“Good location” The Baglioni is a good hotel, with an excellent location ... as one might expect the design is lavish Italian ... possibly a little overbearing for some. That said, again as one would expect, our room was generous, well equipped lacking nothing. The public area on the ground floor is a little cramped ... but the bar area is lively. Great staff and a great breakfast. As one woudl expect, it is an expensive hotel ... I suppose the over-riding feature for us was that it does not stand out in our memory.

“My new favorite London hotel !!” I'm the One Aldwych, Sanderson, Dorchester type. A bit schizo when it comes to hotel selection because I'll try anything if it looks high quality, high service, non-institutional, something unusual, good value for money, unique. So, when a friend from Leading Hotels of the World suggested the Baglioni I thought I'd give it a try. The website was attractive and seductive and hooked me. As did the promise of a great location. And the other reviews helped affirm my choice. I wasn't disappointed. Super location. Immediately across from the park and in a great Chelsea/Kensington neighborhood. Whole Foods just down the street, if you are so inclined. Excellent for business meetings that were in close proximity and I made use of the private car and driver available to hotel guests for short jaunts. I'm the LA/Hollywood type so put on the dark shades and stretched out in the back of the limo. It was more for "me" than for any external audience. I just enjoyed pretending I was a superstar! All in good fun. On check in I was met by Agnes who is outstanding. French. Thoughtful. Prompt. Customer focused. Room wasn't quite ready so I was ushered into the restaurant area, given a delicious espresso, the IHT, had a delightful breakfast, took a walk and when I returned was taken to my room. Spacious, well appointed, quiet, noise-proof windows, excellent bedding, bathroom, amenities, all top notch. Over the next four days/three nights did business meetings in the restaurant (wonderful food and service) had friends for drinks in my suite, was serviced immediately and promptly whenever I needed pressing or an espresso or a wake up call or anything else that would make a hotel stay special and memorable. On check out, Agnes was there again to assist me as were the rest of the staff who all called me by name. There was a slight mix up with the bill which was promptly rectified and I was driven to Paddington by the hotel car for the Heathrow Express. On the train I reviewed my bill again and noticed another error. I called the front desk from the train, talked to Agnes, explained the error and she fixed it immediately. No questions asked. Polite and caring. If you are reading this it's because you, like me, like excellent value for money and something a bit different. You will find it at the Baglioni. From the accommodations to the food the service and the staff, nothing but high praise. (And in case you can't tell, I'm picky!). Enjoy your stay!

The decoration is great and the personal very pleasant and helpfull. We had the luck to be upgraded in a junior suite and had the surprise of a very nice cake for my husband’s birthday. Location on the park and near to the best areas.

I can't thank the Baglioni spa enough for our fantastic spa treatments. We were given a warm welcome by the staff and treated like we were the only guests there. I booked in for a body scrub, massage & facial. The rooms was beautifully lit and very relaxing. My therapist Charlotte was fantastic. I explained to her the problems I'd been having with my back and I can honestly say she gave me the best deep tissue massage I'd ever had. I came away feeling relaxed and regenerated. The down side is the hotel doesn't have a pool or extensive spa facilities. However it certainly makes up by offering excellent treatments.

My husband, adult son and I spent five nights at this elegant and welcoming hotel. The concierge staff, restaurant staff, and managers could not have been more helpful in all respects. Each time we returned to the Baglioni, we were greeted in a way that made us feel like we were returning to our refuge in the city. The suite was spacious and well appointed. Several requests we made to the front desk were immediately attended to, or we received communications from the management in a very timely fashion. The restaurant is a real treat with excellent Italian cuisine and the breakfasts for guests included excellent coffee, pastries, and almost anything one might request. The Spa, while small, provides superb sevices. The exercise room was basic and the treadmill was out of service, but we were able to make do just fine. When choosing our hotel, our major considerations were excellent service and an spacious suite where the three of us could spend time together when we were not otherwise busy. The online information provides the floorplan and dimensions of the suite, and it was by far the most spacious for comparable or better prices than the Mandarin Oriental or similar choices. Thank you to the staff at the Baglioni.

We stayed at the Baglioni for four days the first part of May and weI would highly recommend the hotel. The location was terrific; but the service was outstanding. We were upgraded at check-in; provided with car service to an attraction we mentioned, and received outstanding dining recommendations from the conceirge staff, Max and Bill. The staff made our trip to London very comfortable; it was a great spot to come back to at the end of busy days.

A lastminute.com 2 for 1 deal for my sister's Christmas present and it was the best experience I could've hoped for. Ignoring the snooty concierce in the hotel reception, the door man was welcoming and the Spa staff outdone themselves. Having travelled 2 hours for our treatment we actually ended up being about 40 minutes late but the staff were extremely gracious to say the least, very friendly and welcoming plus we were still treated to 1 1/2 hours of pure bliss with facials, body wraps and deep tissue massages. 'The best massage I've ever had' was my sister's parting comment. I can see Courtney has had plenty of compliments already and I would only add to them as well as complimenting the lady who greeted us at the door for her no fuss, relaxed, easy and friendly approach. It is a small spa and there is no pool but it more than makes up for it with genuinely friendly staff and kindly treatment. I had never heard of the Baglioni nor seen any reviews before going. Our visit was only last weekend and the Spa has recently changed hands with seemingly much impoved results. I would certainly recommend this to any number of people looking for that something special. It is also very well located next to Hyde Park and a whole range of shops plus Harrods is not too far away. Well worth a visit!

We stayed in a Junior Suite at the Baglioni for 4 nights after our flight was cancelled due to the Icelandic volcano ash cloud. The hotel is beautiful. The entire staff was amazing. Having a butler and chauffeur driven Jaguar at our disposal was great. The best amenity might be that there are 110V plugs at the desk in the room. Being an Italian hotel, the pasta dishes were some of the best we have ever had. The concierge was extremely helpful with information about the local area. We have seen some reviews giving poor marks for the Spa. To that we say the name is Baglioni Hotel, not Baglioni Hotel and Spa or Baglioni Spa. My girlfriend is very picky about service and cleanliness and had a wonderful experience in the spa. While the facility is not huge nor does it have a lot of services/amenities, what they did provide was first class. Overall a wonderful experience and we would recommend to all.

We had an extended stay at the hotel due to the ash cloud (which never came!). The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. All the staff had a smile which made all my kids feel very happy. I managed to escape to their lovely boutique spa and had a great massage from Kat (firm hands!). We loved the fact that it was 5 star but not over the top (Italian style). Can't wait to stay again when next in Europe.

I stayed at the Baglioni for one night whilst on business. I found it very comfortable, great service as you would expect. The spa was surprisingly good too, definitely worth booking a massage during your stay. Beautiful location, easy to get to, will certainly consider staying again if on business in that area.

My wife and I were both celebrating our birthdays on the same day and I had booked Baglioni for the night before through LHW. Despite there being no-one on the door at our arrival (the only time during our stay when there was no-one there), we were given a very warm welcome by the front desk staff who wished us happy birthday and upgraded us to a courtyard suite. A tray of petit fours and a complementary bottle of wine awaited us there, which we thought was great. We then went out for dinner. On our return we were very surprised and delighted to find a birthday cake had been made and delivered to the suite too! Quite unexpected. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since we were going out for lunch to Le Gavroche and didn't want to spoil our appetites. A fantastic stay, sadly only for a night. Some may find (and I believe some have, reading the reviews) the hotel too full of dark colours, but I rather liked it. Also liked the plumbed in espresso machine in the suite - took full advantage!

I first stayed at the Baglioni, because of its location over looking the Hyde Park and around the corner from SHOPPING, but this hotel has changed the meaning of services, as soon as you get out of the cab you are greeted as if returning home. The concierge was outstanding, room services is great, house keeping was like I have never seen before. I have returned 3 times during this year, and I am planning to have this as my home away from home. The rooms were very nice, but the decor which i love, but not be to every ones liking.

No doubt the London Baglioni is a hotel we would not hesitate to recommend. The service is discrete, down stated and classy- which we very much like- yet all needs are attended within minutes they are formulated. The personnel is courteous and genuinely preoccupied by the customers well being. We found that all members of the personnel were always smiling (may it be at the front door, the front desk or the house keeping). The concierge that greeted us was jovial and friendly and the hotel manager was absolutely charming. Lobby: all the materials used are of a fine quality, the chairs are very comfortable and the choice of colors very classic and tasteful. We feel the Italian chic. The first room we were in was very romantic and spacey. We came in with many suitcases and had plenty of space to "hide" all of our belongings. We felt we were in a small romantic apartment. The bathroom is practical, spacey and the bath is truly perfect for bath lovers (much better than we usually find)-my wife appreciated that feature very much. The second room was spacious (high ceiling) and the view makes it even more grandiose. As to the decor, we found the rooms to be classic and not overstated. The rich colors of the quality fabrics mixed to the dark wood floors become a peaceful little hideaway after touring the big city all day. We found that the rooms were very silent and isolated from noise. We did not ate at Brunello so can't comment on it. Finally, the fact that the hotel is in front of Hyde Park, minutes away from the metro station and in a nice residential area makes its location enviable. We certainly recommend anyone to stay at Baglioni London.

From the first moment that we entered the Baglioni everything thoroughly exceeded our expectations. We had booked an executive room but were given an upgrade to a suite - thank you very much. All the staff that we encountered were friendly, efficient and professional ,the suite was fantastic with quality fixtures. We ate in the Brunello Restaurant where the food was exceptional and the waiters were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was an excellent and relaxing experience with flawless service again. Overall a great Italian luxury experience in London - we will definitely be returning.

I work for unichef sri lanka and having being in Sri Lanka for some time, we headed back home to see my parents and stayed one night at the hotel since we had to catch up on our flight to Manchester. The hotel was great, cosy rooms and clean. The service was excellent. Good location in London to get anywhere. The food was really good, we enjoyed it very much. I can recommend this hotel for anyone looking for accomodation in London.
