Carla Sozzani Gallery, Milan
If Corso Como is one of the most vibrant parts of Milan, number 10 must certainly be its soul.
Entering into the inner courtyard, one can opt for an aperitif in the exclusive bar or shop in one of the city’s most fashionable boutiques.
Alternatively, visitors can climb the narrow stairway to the Carla Sozzani Gallery, an exhibition space primarily dedicated to photography, design, architecture and contemporary art.
Opened in 1990, the Carla Sozzani Gallery has hosted exhibits of world-renowned artists such as Helmut Newton, Bruce Weber, Bert Stern, Sarah Moon, David LaChapelle, Verner Panton and Martin Margiela.
These major events take place twice a year, however the gallery is always active and keen to promote emerging new talents to the public.
The Gallery also has its own small publishers, Carla Sozzani Editore, which publishes photographic, art, fashion, and design works, as well as a bookshop and a design store.
