Emilio Carlo Mangini Foundation, Milan
Located in an elegant building in via dell'Ambrosiana in Milan, the museum houses a complete collection in forty sections, which includes the furniture that adorns the building’s five floors and vast collections presenting a surprising variety of rare handicraft and decorative.
Toys, sculptures, equipment and all types of equipment for every imaginable use, watches, walking sticks, period clothing, ceramics and religious objects for a total of around 3700 items.
The precious collection of caskets and jewellery boxes takes pride of place
Emilio Mangini, a Milanese patron, off-shore champion, playwright and traveller, collected thousands of items from the past over the course of his life, that today make up the Emilio Carlo Mangini Foundation collection.
One of the fourth floor rooms also exhibits a collection of Modern Art left by Emilio Mangini’s son, Giuseppe.
