In business since 1974, this historic grocery shop in Milan, is especially known for its extraordinary selection of teas from every corner of the globe.
Here you will find more than one hundred different blends, all of excellent quality and extremely fresh. There are also many aromatized teas (around seventy) created by expertly blending Chinese and Indian black tea with essences and fruit. Old Man, aromatized with hazelnuts, raisins, exotic fruit and rum, or Inedit with lavender and vanilla, or even the sweet Paul and Virgine with caramel, vanilla, strawberries, and cherries are well worth a try.
Rare teas, such as Xue Long, which uses only the buds of the tea plant, are also available.
It of course follows that there should also be a large selection of spices, herbs, and around ten varieties of salt.
The grocery shop also stocks a vast selection of jams, preserves and Italian, English, and French jellies, around twenty types of honey (the acacia and truffle honey are a must), the best chocolate brands (Venchi, Lindt, Baratti Majani amongst others) and the best homemade pastries in Italy.
