Eataly, Milan
Located in the basement of the Coin department store in Piazza Cinque Giornate in Milan, Eataly is one of the four Italian retail stores of the largest market for fine food and wines in the world.
Eataly groups together many small companies and small but select local food and wine producers.
Products are in part selected in consultation with Slow Food, which guarantees overall product quality as well as product sustainability on an ecological and social level.
In addition to the huge range of foods, Eataly also stocks artisan beers, wine and coffee.
The butchery department is well worth a visit, with its vacuum-packed cuts of high quality Piedmont beef.
