La Fungheria, Milan
Founded in 1983, La Fungheria is located in Viale Abruzzi in central Milan. Originally set up to gather, process and sell mushrooms and truffles, it was soon flanked by a retail outlet that is still today a point of reference for the catering industry and gourmet food lovers alike.
Every activity, from the gathering and selection of mushrooms through to their packaging is a manual process.
In the Viale Abruzzi retail store and the second store in Via Marghera, customers are welcomed by expert personnel who provide information and advice on how to use the products on display.
Products include Porcini and other mushrooms that have been dried or preserved in oil, as well as truffles and truffle-based products (creams, sauces, aromatized butter, etc.), saffron, honey, preserves and rice.
