MAXXI – National Museum of XXI-century arts, Rome

Exhibition venue, artistic experimentation workshop, production centre in Rome: the MAXXI - Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo (National Museum of XXI-century arts) is all this and more.

Situated in the Flaminio quarter, it is located in a futuristic architectural structure designed to house two museums, the MAXXI Art and the MAXXI Architecture.

The collections include prototypes, objects of design, paintings, photographs and installations, almost all created especially for the MAXXI for special events and competitions.

Both museums also host temporary exhibitions, musical events, and film showings.

Thursday 11 am- 10 pm
