Open Baladin Beer Bar, Rome
Since its opening, this Trastevere beer bar has become a favourite with the locals. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, the clientele is varied and gathers here for the pleasure of being able to choose from the one hundred artisan beers produced by 33 Italian breweries, of which 40 are on draught. Each brewery may feature 3 products on a rotating basis. The house labels are Baladin and Birra del Borgo. Some of the beers, such as Karkadè dell’Olmaia and Christmas CU+ are exclusively produced for the beer bar designed by the ingenious Teo Musso. The establishment also has a small area dedicated to imported beers that offers the best products from all over the world on a rotating basis.
The kitchen is in the expert hands of chefs Gabriele Bonci and Andrea De Bellis, who are already very popular around town. The cuisine is based on simple and informal dishes, with a focus on quality. Favourites are meatballs, sandwiches, croquettes, supplì and desserts.
