Antica Erboristeria Romana

The historic shop in Via di Torre Argentina, which has maintained its original 19th century décor, the Antica Erboristeria Romana dates from 1752, and is the oldest herbalist shop in Rome.

A shop so entrenched in Roman history that it is recalled in a Roman dialect sonnet by the poet Giuseppe Gioacchino Belli.

The shelves of the Antica Erboristeria Romana hold a vast choice of products, among which are at least 700 essential oils, 600 mother tinctures, herbs, spices, at least 40 types of tea, infusions and herbal teas and 20 different types of honey, all rigorously organic and natural.

They also include many products for aromatherapy and hydro-massage, liquors and herb distillates, Indian incense, supplements in capsules and tablets, fresh plant juices and a vast choice of gift items.
