Enrico Castellani and Gunther Uecker

The International Gallery of Modern Art of Ca' Pesaro in Venice will be hosting an exhibition dedicated to Enrico Castellani and Gunther Uecker from September 1st to January 13th 2013.
These two great masters of contemporary art, prominent exponents of the last generation of the ZERO group, pair up again after nearly fifty years for this important expository event.
The exhibition juxtaposes two artistic roads, Italian and German brought side by side, two models of a systematic, conceptual, and at times even sensory archetypes, to spur a reflection in visitors on the great lines along which artistic research unfolded in the late postwar period. The exhibition displays a selection of their historical works, among the most emblematic of the repertoire of these two artists.
Other more recent works have been added, some of which purposely conceived for the event.
