Lineadombra Restaurant, Venice
Set in the evocative Zattere district of Venice, with a backdrop of the church of Santa Maria della Salute, the Lineadombra Restaurant has as spacious floating terrace overlooking the island of Giudecca and welcomes visitors to Venice with a decor that combines warm wood and contemporary steel.
The kitchen serves a classic Venetian cuisine with a penchant for presentation, which does not however detract from the overall result.
The wine list is extensive and enticing and is listed as one of the best in the world by Winespectator magazine (Two Glasses).
At night, the view from the terrace is breathtaking, with the lagoon illuminated by the soft lights of the Redentore.
