The first bookbindery in Europe, now more than a century later this Venetian workshop maintains its record of excellence thanks to the variety and the quality of its printed paper.
Some have been created using Japanese-inspired stencils, some with peacock plume motifs, some are marbled and there are many other variants. There are also items covered in paper, such as picture frames, albums, diaries in all sizes as well as paper mache items.
Elegant desk accessories are also produced here, books, albums, and notebooks are bound, bookplates and covers are produced as are certificates and diplomas, calendars, favours and guest books.
Select calligraphers impeccably transcribe captions and inscriptions on fine paper and decorations and compositions are made to customer specifications.
The Piazzesi Bookbindery also restores antique books.
