From starters to first courses, all with nothing but the best homemade pasta, local Chianina beef reigns supreme in this establishment that welcomes diners with warmth and hospitality, almost as if it were a private home.
The tartare and carpaccio salads are excellent, as are the Florentine steaks and other cuts prepared on the large charcoal grill in the garden as diners look on.
Thanks to the fresh garden vegetables, vegetarians will be spoilt for choice with dishes such as an original vegetarian Carbonara.
Of course there are also plenty of cold meats, salamis and local cheeses.
The wine list offers a variety of Morellino di Scansano labels and vintages and a selection of other well-known Tuscan and Maremma DOC wines, from Rosso di Montalcino to Bianco di Pitigliano or Malvasia.
After their meal, diners can relax with a digestive liqueur in the pretty outdoor gazebo.
