Florence’s “boutique bistrot“, overlooking the Arno River, has a decidedly New York feel and yet all-Italian cuisine.
In summertime, diners can dine on the beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the banks of the River Arno. Next to the dining room is a “champagne room,” a privé of sorts for lunch and dinner reservations.
All dish ingredients are also on general retail (hence the term ’boutique bistrot’).
Meats and sauces from the renowned Cecchini butcher’s shop, Gragnano pasta and even pizza dough can be purchased.
Outside Bistrot’s lunch and dinner menus feature a few well-selected, carefully-prepared dishes that vary from day to day, based on the fresh seasonal produce found at the market.
Outside Bistrot is the perfect place for a pre-dinner aperitif and appetizers in the company of friends or for a light, fresh Sunday brunch.
