Terms and Conditions of the My Baglioni Hotels Programme

1. Details of the Programme

1.1 Baglioni Hotels UK Limited with its registered office in 60 Hyde Park Gate – London SW7 5BB, company No. 4659208 – VAT Reg. 820 7289 31 (hereinafter “Promoter”) promotes the loyalty programme “My Baglioni Hotels” (the « Programme ») which rewards its members by providing them with exclusive services, advantages and special offers (« Rewards »).

1.2 The Programme is run by the Promoter in conjunction with its subsidiaries, which are part of the international Baglioni chain of hotels.

1.3 These Terms and Conditions of the My Baglioni Hotels Programme (hereinafter “Terms and Conditions”) govern the Programme, including the terms and conditions for use of the My Baglioni Hotels Card.

1.4 There may be variations in the Rewards offered by different Baglioni hotels.

1.5 Members of the Programme will receive access to the system for the collection and redemption of reward points (see below « 4. Collecting Points » and « 5. Redemption of Rewards ») and exclusive benefits (see Annex III « Exclusive benefits of My Baglioni Hotels programme »).

2. Registration for the Programme

2.1 The Programme is open to individuals aged 18 or over  (hereinafter “Members”, « You » or « Your« ). Businesses cannot participate in the Programme. Membership is offered at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

2.2. Joining the programme is free of charge. To join the Programme, complete the application form online at www.baglionihotels.com/register. You will be required to provide details about Yourself in order to register. Those details together with information relating to Your transactions, purchases and participation in the Programme will be collected, stored and processed by the Promoter for the purposes of administering the Programme, better understanding its Members, and sending You marketing information [for example about events and special offers].  For further information about this processing of Your personal data, please see the Privacy Policy by clicking this link www.baglionihotels.com/my-baglioni-privacy-policy/. Your personal data may also be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for administration of the Programme and to business partners for marketing purposes.

2.3 By joining the Programme, You are indicating Your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, and giving Your consent to Your data being processed for these purposes. You have the right to ask the Promoter not to process Your personal data for marketing purposes. You can exercise Your right to prevent such processing by clicking unsubscribe in emails the Promoter may send You. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting the Promoter at mybaglioni@baglionihotels.com.

2.4 After completing the application form, You will receive an email You will need to follow the instructions in the email to confirm Your email address and that You wish to register for the Programme. You will then be able to enter further optional information (for example, Your address, preferences and nationality).

2.5 After registering, You can see how many Points You have collected, redeem Points for Rewards, and cancel Your membership of the Programme using My Baglioni Hotels online www.baglionihotels.com/unsubscription.
Your username will be the email address You provided when registering for the Programme.

3. Your My Baglioni Code and My Baglioni Card

3.1 Once the above registration process is completed, You will be assigned a unique identification code (hereinafter « My Baglioni Code« ). You may also be sent a magnetic strip card bearing Your My Baglioni Code (hereinafter « My Baglioni Card« ).

3.2 Your My Baglioni Code and My Baglioni Card (if applicable) are non-transferable. They are personal to You and can only be used by You.

3.3 The My Baglioni Code and My Baglioni Card (if applicable) must be provided or shown at check-in and check-out from a Baglioni hotel for Points to be awarded. This can only be done by the registered Member, not by anybody else staying in the room with the Member.

3.4 In the event of loss, theft or unauthorised use of Your My Baglioni Code or My Baglioni Card (if the Promoter has provided You with one), You must contact the Promoter at mybaglioni@baglionihotels.com as soon as You become aware. You may also notify the Promoter if Your My Baglioni Card (if the Promoter has provided You with one) becomes damaged and You wish to receive a new one.

4. Collecting Points

4.1 To find out how You can collect points please refer to Annex 1  “How the Points system works”.

4.2 Points are valid for three 3 years from the date of being applied to Your account.  Points which are unused after that time will expire and be deducted from Your total Points balance.

4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to modify the value of Points awarded for specific activities or purchases. Details of any such changes will be communicated to Members through the Baglioni Hotels website.

4.4 The Promoter reserves the right not to award Points or to cancel incorrectly awarded points at its discretion, including in the following situations:

4.4.1  cancelled bookings;

4.4.2  no-show bookings;

4.4.3   fraudulent activity, where Members are deliberately attempting to bypass at the security of the system;

4.4.4   where there is a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

5. Redemption of Rewards

5.1 You may choose Rewards in accordance with the number of Points available to You, solely via My Baglioni Hotels online www.baglionihotels.com/login.

5.2 Points redeemed for Reward cannot be reinstated under any circumstances.

5.3 To find out which Rewards You may choose and which conditions shall apply to the redemption of Rewards, please refer to Annex II « Redemption of Rewards ».

6. Withdrawing from the Programme

6.1 You may cancel Your membership of the Programme at any time and free of charge by emailing to  mybaglioni@baglionihotels.com or by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the My Baglioni Hotels section of the Baglioni Hotels website.

6.2 All Points held by You will immediately expire when You cancel Your membership, so You are advised to consider whether You wish to redeem any Points You have collected prior to cancelling.

7. Your responsibilities

7.1 You are responsible for ensuring that the personal details You provide are accurate, complete and up-to-date. You are also responsible for promptly notifying the Promoter of any changes to Your personal details, such as a change of name or address, by emailing to mybaglioni@baglionihotels.com

7.2 You must not abuse or misuse the Programme in any way, including by acting in any way that breaches these Terms and Conditions.

7.3 You are responsible for keeping Your username and password secure and confidential.

8. General

8.1 The Promoter reserves the right to terminate, suspend or make changes to the Programme including these Terms and Conditions at any time. This includes making changes to the way in which Points are collected, redeemed, and expire, and to the Rewards available. The Promoter will use all reasonable efforts to advise Members of any material changes, and to give Members 30 days notice of the same. Notice will be provided by email or postal mail to the contact details provided by You and/or an announcement on www.baglionihotels.com.

8.2 The Promoter reserves the right to take any action it considers appropriate if it has reason to believe You are in breach of these Terms and Conditions. This includes cancelling or suspending Your membership or revoking Points which You have collected. In particular, misuse of a My Baglioni Code and/or My Baglioni Card (if applicable) will result in immediate cancellation by the Promoter of Your membership of the Programme. Points accrued up to cancellation will be cancelled and You will no longer be able to redeem Points nor benefit from any Rewards for which Points have been redeemed but which have not yet been used.

8.3 The Promoter takes no responsibility for any issue related to access, impediment, malfunctioning or difficulties regarding computers, telephone lines, cables, electronics, software, hardware, transmission, connection, internet connection or similar which may prevent You from participating in the Programme.

8.4 Insofar as is permitted by law the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate You or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of being a Member of the Programme except where it is caused by the negligence of Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8.5 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and Members of the Programme submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

ANNEX 1

How the Points system works

  • Members can collect points in 3 different ways, as described below:
    - Points related to overnight stays
    - Points related to hotel services
    - Points related to online activities
  • Points related to overnight stays and to hotel activities shall be awarded within 7 working days from check-out
  • Points related to online activities shall be awarded within 24 hours of the activity being completed. The points shall be awarded to the room holder and not to other occupants.
  • The Member’s My Baglioni Card must be provided to the hotel receptionist at check-in to ensure points are added to the Member’s  account.

 

Points related to overnight stays

10 points are awarded for each euro (or for stays at Baglioni Hotel London pound) paid by the Member directly to the hotel for overnight stays.

Points can be collected from the following hotels:

-      Milan, Baglioni Hotel Carlton

-      Venice, Baglioni Hotel Luna

-      Florence, Relais Santa Croce

-      Rome, Baglioni Hotel Regina

-      London, Baglioni Hotel

-      Punta Ala, Baglioni Hotel Cala del Porto

 

Points cannot be earned for:

  • bookings where the payment is carried out through a travel agency, a tour operator or any other intermediary,.
  • booking made via an online travel agent or through websites offering online booking services such as, by way of example; Booking, Expedia, Amoma or Lastminute.
  • bookings that are part of  an organized group.
  • bookings carried out through the Gift box programme (Purchasing system for private or corporate gifts).

 

Points related to hotel services

For Members whose reservations do not fall within the  exclusions listed above, may earn points for  activities carried out in the hotel (beverage, breakfast, minibar, SPA) at the rate of 10 points for each euro (pound) spent. 

To collect points for hotel services the bill must  be paid at the reception.

The number of points awarded may be increased for specific periods or for specific circumstance. Information about any promotions offered will be advertised on the website: www.baglionihotels.com

Points related to online activities

Members may earn additional points by carrying out certain online activities (by way of example: following Baglioni Hotels on the Facebook, sending an email to a friend, etc.) specified by Baglioni Hotels on the website: www.baglionihotels.com

In detail:

Subscription (1000 points)

Programme subscription allows Members to earn 1000 points. This action can be carried out only once.

Invite a friend (20 points)

This action can be carried out on the « Earn points » page.
The invite a friend action can be carried out in two different ways:

-  Invitation to register on My Baglioni Hotels

-  Invitation to purchase a stay

By clicking on « Invite a friend », a pop-up will appear asking the Member to enter the friend’s address.  The Member can can add a message (optional) that will be included in the email sent.

A Member can send a maximum of 30   »invite a friend »  invitations to different addresses.   Emails sent to a Member’s email address  will not qualify for points.

Follow on Facebook/Twitter (100 points)

This action can be carried out on the « Earn points » page, by clicking « Follow » on the related widget.
The follow option on Twitter requires Internet Explorer v. 9.0 or a later version.
Any follow action not carried out on the « Earn points » page (by way of example, directly on the Facebook or Twitter) will not award any point.

The subsequent cancellation of the action will result in the deduction of the points awarded.

Connect the user profile to Facebook (100 points)

If the percentage of completion of  your Member’s user profile is less than 100%, on the profile page, you can click on « Complete with Facebook ».  A pop-up of Facebook will appear asking for consent. If the consent is granted, the empty  profile fields  will be populated automatically and a score will be assigned for such action.

Saving a your profile page will award you with the points related to the completion of the missing fields (see following section).

Completion of the user’s profile fields (10 points)
By completing your  Member profile empty fields and by saving such changes, the Member  will be awarded with the points shown next to each field.  The fields which have already been completed are marked with a green tick. If you modify such fields you will not be awarded with any additional point.

Subscription to the newsletter (100 points)

Subscription to the newsletter will earn points once you have confirmed your email by clicking the link we send to you by email . You can subscribe on the form available on the « Earn points » page or on the form available on the left side of all the site’s pages. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter the points previously awarded will be deducted.

Baglioni Hotels web site content sharing on the Facebook or Twitter (20 points)

Baglioni Hotels website consent sharing through the sharing buttons located at the bottom of each page allows you to earn points. The content sharing can be carried out  a maximum of 30 times, and in case of multiple sharing of the same contents (or post) only the first sharing will earn points.
The sharing option on Twitter for Internet Explorer users requires  v. 9.0 or later version.

The website content sharing carried out manually (via social network or through the browser’s extension dedicated to sharing) will not result  in the  award of any points.

 

ANNEX II

Redemption of Rewards

  • You can select your My Baglioni Hotels Reward based on the number of points available  by accessing www.baglionihotels.com/login
  • Following the choice of the Reward, the points will be permanently deducted from your account.
  • Once you have selected your Reward You will receive a confirmation email and will be contacted by us to to confirm further details including the date of use. The user will have 6 months from the date the Reward is selected  to redeem the benefit.
  • The reward must be requested not less than 48 hours before the expected date of use.
    The Reward will be subject to the availability.  Please note that certain dates will not be available for reward bookings.  See below for further information. If the requested dates are not available, alternative dates will be provided.
  • The availability of Reward bookings cannot be verified through the reservation channels of Baglioni Hotels or from third parties.
  • Any extra services booked with the Reward booking must be paid for separately.
  • The number of points required in order to obtain certain Rewards may be reduced for specific periods or due to specific circumstances. Information about any promotions offered will be advertised on the website: www.baglionihotels.com
