Musée d’Archéologie et du Vin de Champagne

The Museum of Archeology and of Champagne located in the building complex of the Castle Perrier on avenue de Champagne hosts one of the most important archeological collections in all of Franceand treasures the precious history of Champagne.

The archeological section hosts over 80,000 findings from the Paleolithic age to the early Middle Ages dug out of sites scattered across the region.

The section dedicated to Champagne instead comprises about 4,000 products that trace the key moments of the beverage’s history.

There is a last section dedicated to the arts and popular traditions, with 600 objects of ethnographic interest coming from many parts of the world.
