The restaurant Côté Cour lies inside the elegant building that looks over cours Mirambeau, in the heart of Aix-en-Provence.
The Chef Ronan Kernen is a talented young man who has become very popular in France thanks to his appearances on the TV show “Top Chef”.
The menu offers the classic dishes of an exclusive brasserie that are personally prepared by Ronan in the open-view kitchen next to the dining room, which can be ordered from the list or enjoyed as part of two tasting menus.
Foie gras duck liver, game, meats, and fresh fish are served daily with a new creative touch, blended with the scents of the Provencal herbs, but open to fusions with foreign ingredients and products, such as the Sardinian Fregula (a traditional Sardinian pasta) Bresaola dried beef, and Chinese mandarins or lychees.
The wine cellar has nearly a hundred wines all rigorously French, with a special preference for ones produced locally.
