Restaurant Mitch is on 26 rue Des Tanneurs in the centre of Aix-en-Provence.
Every morning fresh produce is delivered to the restaurant, out of which Chef Nicolas Brasco chooses the ingredients to create the menu that will be served on the same evening.
That means different dishes are invented every day of the week using only fresh seasonal foods, inspired by Provencal culinary tradition and served in a refined and elegant atmosphere by a homely and discreet waiting staff.
The restaurant’s specialty is the “Fideua de la mer”, a traditional Catalan dish similar to paella but with broken pasta instead of rice, a witness to the Chef’s many Mediterranean influences.
During the warm season (spring to summer) guests can dine on the splendid outdoor terrace.
Mitch organizes special evenings with live performances by bands and jazz musicians, who contribute to make the atmosphere in this restaurant all the more memorable.
