The Rocca di Montemassi Holding is located in the town of Roccastrada, in the heart of the Maremma and covers a surface area of 430 hectares, of which 160 are dedicated to vineyards in the DOC zone of Monteregio, between the coast and the Colline Metallifere.
The wine cellar is the result of the expert renovation of the existing rural structures and the creation of a new complex that is perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment.
Monteregio DOC grapes produce red Sassabruna, a full-bodied wine aged in French oak casks, perfect for accompanying traditional Tuscan meat dishes and pungent cheeses.
Maremma Toscana IGT gapes produce La Focaia red and two interesting white wines, Calasole and Astraio.
Wines produced on the farm and “Chianti Classico” from Castello d’Albola di Radda in Chianti, can be sampled and purchased from the estate cantina.
There is a small, interesting Museum of Rural Civilization on the grounds.
