The Children’s Museum in Rome
Explora is the Children’s Museum in Rome, an entire exhibition pavilion structured as a child-size city.
On the ground floor, children can find permanent installations that reconstruct the city with a supermarket, bank, grocery and firehouse as well as special areas for education on the environment, ecology and recycling.
There is also the Piccoli Exploratori area for the youngest guests with tactile and gaming areas.
There are also temporary shows and many themed workshops for the entire family on the upper floor, including the Officina in Cucina food workshop where children learn to bake tasty cookies that they can share with their parents.
Play groups are also organized for children age 3-5, where they can have fun and socialize while studying scientific and artistic themes.
