Antica Pesa

The Antica Pesa restaurant in Rome’s historic Via Garibaldi, has set the benchmark for Roman haute cuisine since 1922, and is frequented to this day by celebrities from the world of politics and show business.

Traditional Roman recipes are reinterpreted and updated by Chef Simon Panella, who in addition to classics such as Mezze maniche all’amatriciana, Spaghetti with cheese and pepper and Spaghetti alla carbonara, creates sophisticated original dishes such as Pasta e fagioli with Terracina seafood and tomato confit or Arriccia roast prok mille-feuille with mozzarella, endive and pear sauce.

The outstanding underground wine cellar at Antica Pesa has won several awards, including the 2009 Restaurant Wine List Award and 2010 Wine Cellar of the Year 2010, and features more than 300 Italian and foreign wines.

A private room with a single extendable table seats 2 to 12 people, allowing guests to enjoy the culinary experience in complete privacy.
