Opened in 1896 in Florence in Via dei Calzaiuoli, and passing from generation to generation, from the founder Arturo Ugolini until his great grandchild Niccolò, this clothes shop has lived through the history of the city and of Italy, even suffering severe damage during the tragic flood that hit Florence in 1966.
Different renovations have been made in the last few years, maintaining an unmistakable classic style, modernizing this antique tailor shop by widening its windows, improving the use of light and creating new visual paths, clearly indicating the different sale sections.
On the lower floor, you can find spaces dedicated to handmade shirts, accessories, knitwear and shoes.
On the top floor you can find jackets, trousers, coats, leather goods and a complete ceremonial section with dinner jackets and cashmere coats, as well as a place dedicated to the fitting of tailored suits.
As well as the tailored clothes, there are many you can buy directly, including: Brioni, Fray shirts, Avon Celli and Les Copains knitwear, Cavalli and Church’s shoes, and Burberry clothing.
