In 1865, in fact, John Mallett – a jeweler and silversmith maestro – opened his first laboratory in Bath. The company moved to its present premises in London in 1937.

In 2003 a new store was opened in New York.

Mallett is not only involved in the trade of furnishings and objects, but also important restorations and conservation of works for private customers and public institutions.

For over 100 years, Mallett has been one of the most important reference points for collectors and institutions, including important museums such as: The Victoria & Albert Museum of London and The Metropolitan Museum of Art di New York.
