General procedures:
Seaplane flights are mandatory for every person staying in Baglioni Resort Maldives, it will be booked along with the accommodation upon reservation and will be paid on arrival.
You will be met on arrival by our friendly airport representative, who will escort you to the seaplane terminal. While awaiting your flight, relax in our exclusive Baglioni Lounge where the curbside check-in shall be made before your arrivalto the resort.
Seaplane transfers in the Maldives only operate during daylight hours, and are subject to arrival and departure times. In order to guarantee the transfer, your outbound flight must arrive in the Maldives within 3.00 pm and your inbound flight from Malè must depart after 08.50 am.
If your flights operate outside of these times we would recommend booking a room in Malè or at an airport hotel at an additional cost.
For stays till 30th Sep 2022, the cost of round trip transfer is $ 450 per adult; $ 350 per child from 2 to 11.99 years old; free of charge for children up to 1.99 years old.
The cost of the round-trip transfer is $ 650.00 per adult; $ 390.00 per child from 2 to 11.99 years old; free of charge for children up to 1.99 years old.
Sanitary measures:
- Ensure physical distancing at boarding queues.
- All passengers should wear masks.
- Due to the traffic in this exceptional situation and the extra sanitizing procedures the waiting time for being transferred might be longer than usual.
Luggage:
Baggage allowance is 25kg and 5kg hand luggage per person. However only a small bag (with essential belongings, no more than 3 kg) will be allowed to carry on board the aircraft, no trolleys will be allowed as hand luggage. The Seaplane Company will levy a surcharge for excess luggage. The extra baggage allowance can be paid directly at the Resort.
