Studio Museo Achille Castiglioni

Opened to the public in 2006, Achille Castiglioni Studio Museum is located in Piazza Castello, in Milan city centre.

It was here that Achille Castiglioni, one of the most prominent names in the history of international design, designed and created objects that are now considered real cult objects, such as the famous Arco lamp, designed for Flos, the Brionvega stereoscopic radio-phonograph, Zanotta furnishing accessories and Alessi kitchen accessories.

The guided tour, which lasts around an hour, shows visitors around the studio’s four rooms: the prototype and model room, the drafting machine room, where Castiglioni collected ordinary, everyday objects from which to draw inspiration, and a meeting room that houses a substantial collection of design items.

By reservation only.
