A horse ride in the Otranto countryside

Climb on horseback and enjoy the nature park trails, immersed in all the beauty and colour of the Salento coast. The centuries-old Via Francigena way meanders through delightful scenery enveloped in Mediterranean maquis past breathtaking natural coves and caves steeped in history and legend.

You’ll explore an old ruined abbey and a fortified farmstead before reaching the stunning red lake, a natural pool in a former bauxite quarry surrounded by striking red earth.

Then you drop down to the craggy coastline and the splendid Baia delle Orte, Otranto’s wildest beach.
