Meet sculptor Dante Mortet in his historic workshop and find out more about Mano Artigiana.
A private visit that will allow you to discover the artistic history of the Mortet family, master chisellers who since 1800 have helped to create works of art, among which we remember the Sword of Victory destined for Victor Emmanuel III, the Door of the Reliquary of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and the lamps kept in the Pantheon for the tomb of Queen Margherita of Savoy. Now in its fifth generation, the tradition is in the “hands” of Dante Mortet, who opens the doors of his shop exclusively to customers of the Baglioni Hotel Regina to tell them about his project of “Mano Artigiana”, bronze sculptures of famous people and ordinary people. At the end of the visit you will receive as a keepsake the reproduction of a coin of the XV century, depicting, on one of the two sides, the main entrance of the Baglioni Hotel Regina in Rome. During the meeting, you will have an exclusive preview of the collection of bronze sculptures of celebrities’ hands.
