Bioparco is a zoological garden in Rome, located in gorgeous Villa Borghese and home to about 1,300 animals and more than 300 species from around the world.
Here, children can see animals up close and, with the help of the Bioparco staff, learn more about them thanks to many interactive workshops.
On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays you can watch the animals eat, with times set up throughout the day so visitors can watch how chimps, macacos, lemurs, elephants, hippos, seals and, during the summer, even bears eat.
There are also dining areas where you can have a snack, a picnic area, a restaurant and an area for the very youngest guests.
