The children’s museum in Rome.

Explora is Rome’s dedicated kids’ museum, aimed at the under-12s.  An entire exhibition pavillon structured as a child-size city, divided into thematic sectionsand with everything from a supermarket to a play pool and fire engine, as well as special areas for environmental education, ecology and recycling. Outside there is also a free play park open to all.

The Young Explorers Area, for the youngest,  has various gaming areas. You will also find temporary shows and many themed workshops for the entire family on the upper floor, including the Officina in Cucina food workshop where children learn to bake tasty cookies that they can share with their parents.

Play groups are also organized for children age 3-5, where they can have fun and socialize while studying scientific and artistic themes.
