Art meets the youngest
Traditionally known for its support of modern and contemporary art, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection of Venice offers a wide range of initiatives for families and children.
Every Sunday, from 3 to 4:30 pm, the museum hosts Kids’ Day, a project for 4-10 year olds, which includes various workshops to discover and experiment with different artistic techniques and themes. By analyzing one or two works in the permanent collection or temporary shows, trained staff will help children digest what they see.
The workshop schedule, which can be viewed on the museum’s website, changes weekly and may include dance or foreign language education through the artistic works of the 20th and 21st century.
