When the company was dissolved, Roberto understood that his future would move in that direction due to his great love for Hotellerie. In 1974 the Baglioni Resort of Punta Ala was born. This is where Roberto married Lisa, and where their son Guido — now CEO of Baglioni Hotels — spent his childhood.
The Baglioni Hotels are elegant and sophisticated with an intimate, homely atmosphere. The people who work in them are passionate about every single gesture. Everything is designed to give unforgettable memories, in which the customer is the protagonist of an authentic, personal, Italian story. Over the years, the property has developed a concept of luxury that in its daily management has translated into a “tailor-made” service, making guests feel at ease, understanding their needs throughout the stay, according on to their culture of origin and their desires or aspirations. The collection now includes 7 exclusive hotels, located in the heart of the main European art cities, and 2 Resorts.
Four hotels are in Italy: in Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome. Two in France, in Aix-en-Provence and Saint Paul de Vence, and one is in Great Britain, in the heart of London. The Collection is completed by the historic Baglioni Resort Cala del Porto in Punta Ala and the latest pearl acquired, the Baglioni Resort Maldives, an exclusive resort composed of 96 villas that will stand on the island of Maagau.
