When the company was dissolved, Roberto understood that his future would move in that direction due to his great love for Hotellerie. In 1974 the Baglioni Resort of Punta Ala was born. This is where Roberto married Lisa, and where their son Guido — now CEO of Baglioni Hotels — spent his childhood.
The Baglioni Hotels are elegant and sophisticated with an intimate, homely atmosphere. The people who work in them are passionate about every single gesture. Everything is designed to give unforgettable memories, in which the customer is the protagonist of an authentic, personal, Italian story. Over the years, the property has developed a concept of luxury that in its daily management has translated into a “tailor-made” service, making guests feel at ease, understanding their needs throughout the stay, according on to their culture of origin and their desires or aspirations.
The Collection now numbers 4 exclusive hotels – 3 in the heart of Italy’s finest art cities (Florence, Venice and Rome) and one in the elegant centre of London’s Kensington district – plus 3 resorts, namely in Punta Ala, Tuscany, in the Maldives on the isle of Maagau, and in Sardinia with the brand-new Baglioni Resort Sardinia, opened on 1 June 2021 just north of San Teodoro on beautiful Lu Impostu beach. This year the Collection has been enriched thanks to the opening in May 2022 of the Baglioni Masseria Muzza, a magical historic property deep in the Salento countryside amid the beautiful Adriatic beaches, just a few minutes from Otranto, and Casa Baglioni, in the heart of Brera district in Milan, in late 2022.
