May 2016 saw the unveiling of Baglioni Hotel London’s restyled lobby and restaurant, bringing a fresh new look to the Kensington property.
Milanese interior design firm Spagnulo & Partners have created a modern space with clean-cut lines and sumptuous upholstery, while the restyled Brunello Restaurant is inspired by traditional Milanese trattorias of the 1950s. With a theme of combining tradition with contemporary design, Milan was an influential factor in the design of the new restaurant, with a new large bar and simple furnishings reflecting the osteria restaurants so popular in the city in the past.
The new lobby is open-plan, connecting the reception and restaurant, and offers two different entrances for hotel and restaurant guests, making this a place to stay or for locals to stop by for some of the best Italian fare in London.
Baglioni Hotel London, located just opposite Kensington Palace, is the perfect base from which to explore the Palace and the Gardens. With a prime Kensington location, Baglioni Hotel is located just a few minutes’ walk from High Street Kensington and near many other national historical and cultural locations such as the Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum.
