Genoa 26 May 2021 – Gismondi 1754 Group (AIM ticker: GIS), the historic brand from Genoa that has produced high-end jewellery for seven generations, announces a new framework agreement signed on 24 May 2021 with the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts Collection, the only Italian luxury hospitality brand operating prestigious hotels and resorts in historic buildings in the leading art cities in Italy and Europe and exclusive destinations around the globe.
In this partnership, as previewed in the management report from the 31/12/2020 financial statements, Gismondi 1754 will fulfil the multifaceted role of in-house jeweller at all Baglioni Hotels & Resorts locations. The first Gismondi 1754 store – at the Baglioni Resort Sardinia in San Teodoro near splendid Lu Impostu beach – opens on 1 June.
Then from January 2022, Gismondi 1754 will open another store at the Baglioni Hotel Regina on Rome’s prestigious Via Veneto, followed by a presence at the other Baglioni Collection locations, including the Baglioni Hotel Luna Venice, Baglioni Resort Maldives and Baglioni Relais Santa Croce in Florence. There will be a total of 8 outlets worldwide.
The Genoa brand’s collections will also appear at future Baglioni hotels and resorts opening in Milan, New York and Paris, in line with the Group’s vigorous development plan.
The partnership between Gismondi 1754 and Baglioni Hotels & Resorts also involves co-branding projects. Each of the famous chain’s locations will host several exclusive jewels, available there only. The home pages of the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts and Gismondi 1754 corporate websites will feature links to each other’s websites, with accompanying content outlining the agreement reached.

The two companies’ partnership dates back several years to when Roberto Polito, founder of the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts Collection, and Massimo Gismondi, CEO and creative mind behind the Genoa brand, met in Monte Carlo.
